How to Use E-CIS

WEB-BASED C.I.S. INTRODUCTION

(Career Information System)

1.                 Go to www.idahocis.org

2.                 Click on the blue "e-cis" oval in the upper left corner

3.                 Type in user name    genesee

4.                 Type in password     bulldogsr#1

5.      For information on different vocations, start by clicking on Occupations, under "Information: Occupations."

A.     Click on the first letter of your occupation of interest (example V for Veterinary Assistant)

B.     Click on Veterinary Assistant

C.     Browse the topics on the left related to Veterinary Assistants

6.                 For information on different post-secondary education choices across the country, click on National Schools under "Information: Education"

A.     Click on state at left that school of choice is located in (example, California)

B.      Click on school of choice, i.e. Stanford

C.     To create a letter requesting information from any given      school, from this point click on School Letter or School E-mail Letter at the upper left.

D.     Enter address info and indicate what types of information you are interested in receiving.
