Hello!  I am the Genesee Elementary 5th grade teacher. I started substitute teaching at Genesee Schools in 2002.  I have been part of the Genesee Elementary staff full-time since 2011. I love teaching because of the opportunity it provides all members of a class to learn from one another.  As a life-long learner, I actively seek out information about human development and brain research related to education as frequently as possible.  As a professional, I continually seek ways to make my practices more effective and efficient. 

I currently live in Genesee with my husband, Jake.  We have two daughters, Kyra and Mia.
