Secondary news:
This year classes will earn “spirit” points by attending games, participation in the dress-up days, and the pep rally games. The team with the most points will earn a special award that they will receive after the Homecoming week is over. The breakdown of points will be as follows: Dress up days—1 point per student appropriately dressed for the day’s theme. Additional points may be awarded to students who really catch the spirit! Mr. Caldwell will announce the winning class at halftime of the Homecoming game.
Dress Up Days
Monday— Mario Monday— Dress up as a Mario character or your favorite part of Mario.
Tuesday— Rhyme without a Reason Tuesday—find a partner to rhyme with (ex. Rapper or Napper) or create your own rhyme without reason on your own.
Wednesday—Class Movie Wednesday—Each class selects a movie and dresses up as characters or in reference to the movie of their class. Sr-Minions, Jrs-Trolls, Soph-Smurfs, Frosh-Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
The MS will be judged separately.
- 8th - Charlie & the Chocolate Factory
- 7th - Barbie
- 6th - 90’s movies
Thursday---Blue & Gold Day—FB Players in jerseys, VB player in jersey tops, both HS and JH students. Everyone else in Bulldog blue, gold and white!
It goes without saying, but students please remind one another to be tasteful and appropriate with the dress-up days. We know it will be a little distracting, but we want it to be fun, and inappropriate actions or dress detracts from the fun. Students who choose to take it too far will lose points for their class.
