I graduated from Lewis Clark State College in 2005. I started substitute teaching at Genesee in 2006. I volunteered in Preschool during the 2008-2009 school year and then was a Title One Aide in 2009-2010. I taught preschool from 2010 - 2013 and then became the First Grade teacher in the Fall of 2013. I taught First Grade for six years, then taught Kindergarten in 2019-2020, preschool last year and 2nd Grade this year! This is my 12th year teaching and I am so excited to teach this age group.

I have lived in Genesee since 2002 and feel so blessed to be part of such an amazing community! My son, Ely, started in First Grade here and graduated in 2015. My daughter, Ella, went to preschool here and is a senior this year! 

I came from a family of teachers and knew from a young age that I was meant to teach! I absolutely love working with kids and there is nothing more exciting to me than watching students grow and learn. 

Outside of school, some of my favorite things to do are camping, boating, trap shooting, exercising and spending time with my grandson!
