Hello Parents-

Welcome to the start of the 2020 -2021 school year here at Genesee Elementary School. I hope that with all the unscheduled changes/restrictions that were/are in place that you were able to spend more quality time with your family. I am excited that we are allowed to have students face-to-face in the sixth grade and really hope to make it the through May with your student getting to learn here in the classroom. I also want to let you know that our staff and I will do all that we can do to keep your student safe and healthy during their time at school and hope that the same happens at the home sites as well. Within the first couple days of school, I wll be guiding the students through some changes in protocol in regards to hygeine and Covid-preventative measures which will be in each student's handbook, signed by a parent within the first few days of school starting. Please read this through with your student! 

Please take advantage of communicating with me via e-mail with any questions/concerns regarding your student during this school year. As usual, my students will be filling out a daily assignment sheet and should be able to produce this at your request. This is vital for your student to keep up with classroom expectations and assignments. 

I am looking forward to a great year and hope to have your support in making it an awesome year for your student !
