    All applications and supporting documents for Genesee School local scholarships must be uploaded to each senior's digital application folders in Google Drive by

     4:00pm on Thursday, April 25th

    The applications on this web page are for reference only, and for the information of non-applicants.

    Seniors will be provided their own Local Scholarships Applications folder in Google Drive for Desktop and will be shown how to access it. Applications should be opened, completed and saved within the student's personal application folder; not from this web page.

    **Fred & Emma Shirrod Scholarship Amount varies Academic performance, activities, letters of recommendation. Click on the Common Scholarship Application link above.
    **Genesee Senior Citizens Scholarship for Vocational Training  Up to two awards of $500 Demonstrated ability in trade of choice; minimum
    2.20 GPA; Financial need; letters of recommendation.    		 Click on the Common Scholarship Application link above.
    **Medical Dental Association Scholarship Amount varies Academic performance, activities, career goals. Must plan to study medicine, dentistry, science, or a related major. Click on the Common Scholarship Application link above.
    **William F. Gray Scholarship Amount varies MUST ATTEND UNIVERSITY OF IDAHO.  GPA,
    class rank, activities in school and community and financial need.    		 Click on the Common Scholarship Application link above.
    **Dennler Family Scholarship

    One award: $750

    MUST ATTEND LCSC in a vocational associates degree program.

     **Don & Kathryn Springer Scholarship  Amount varies Genesee student since at least junior year; minimum 3.0 GPA; must attend 2-4 year college program; financial need considered if needed to break a tie. Click on the Common Scholarship Application link above.
    **Bernie & Diane Hermann Nursing Scholarship One award: $2,000 For students pursuing the career goal of becoming a Nurse. Click on the Common Scholarship Application link above.
    **Evergreen Veterinary Clinic Woman of Excellence One award: $2,500 -Open to any graduating female going on to college

    American Legion Bielenberg Schooler Post 58 Amount varies Relative of a veteran (see application). College, vocational or business school. Financial need will be considered. Application Form (Word Doc.)
    David E. Blume Scholarship Amount varies Demonstrated abilities in math and/or science. Interested in pursuing a degree in math, science, or a major that utilizes those skills. Pursuing a four year degree or vocational certificate.  Application Form (Word Doc.)
    Genesee Booster Club Scholarship 1 - 3 awards (based on size of graduating class)
    $500 each    		 Must enroll in post-secondary degree program. Based on GPA; participation in extra-curricular activities; 2 letters of recommendation and a one page essay. Application Form (Word Doc.)
    Genesee Civic Association Vocational/Business Scholarship Two scholarships: $1,000 each Targeting students heading to vocational training program or associates degree in a skilled trade or 2 year degree in business-related field.  Community service required for eligibility.     Genesee Education Association Scholarship Amount varies GPA, participation in school/community, educational goals.  Essay about high school education.  Financial need and interest in teaching considered if all else equal. Application Form (Word Doc.)
    Faculty Recommendation Form (Word Doc)
    Genesee Education Foundation Scholarship Amount varies 3.0 GPA, demonstrated exceptional school and community service.  2 letters of recommendation. Award to be applied to post secondary students. Application Form (Word Doc.)
    Genesee FFA Alumni Scholarship Number &
    $ amount of awards varies each year    		 Graduating Genesee seniors who have taken ag. Classes, have actively participated in FFA for at least two years and are currently a member in good standing.

    Ozzie Kanikkeberg Memorial Scholarship Amount varies Must enroll in post-secondary degree program. Based on GPA; participation in extra-curricular

    Ray & Elsie Linehan Scholarship Amount varies and dispersed
    second semester.    		 Academic performance, Min 2.5 GPA, activities, future plans, letters of recommendation. Application & Recommendation Form (Word Doc.)
    McMains Family Scholarship Varies; up to
    $5,000

    Any credit bearing post-secondary training, college or university degree program.  Motivation and demonstrated ability to complete a college program. Letters of recommendation. Financial need may also be a consideration.
