Mrs. Jones

My name is Lacey Jones and I am the 3rd grade homeroom teacher. I am a Genesee alumni. I graduated from the University of Idaho with a bachelor’s in elementary education and I have been teaching in Genesee since 2021.  My teaching style follows the Genesee mission statement of teaching students to be respectable leaders, helping students to become life long learners, and proactive community members. 

My family has been in Genesee for many generations. My husband and I live in Genesee with our four children and we are grateful to have the opportunity to raise them in such a great community. I admire how this community supports their school and students. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family on my parents farm and spending time with my horses. I also enjoy reading, camping, fishing, and hunting. Currently, I spend most of my time at my kids sporting events cheering them on!
