Mrs. Cassandra Heath

My name is Cassandra Heath.  I grew up in the Inland Northwest and have spent all of my life in this area. As a young person, I enjoyed playing sports and participating in outdoor activities.

I graduated from Moscow High School, and then went on to get a bachelors degree in elementary education from Lewis Clark State College. 

I have been teaching at Genesee Since 2015. I have had the privilege of teaching preschool, third, fourth, fifth, and 6th grade English language arts, as well as Title I.  After teaching ELA for three years, I began pursuing a graduate degree in adolescent literacy from Concordia University, where I graduated with a masters of education.   

When I am not teaching, I spend my free time with my husband, two sons, and dogs.  We love to hunt, fish, and spend time riding ATVs.  In the summer, we enjoy long days on the river swimming and paddle boarding.  I love living in this area because of all the different outdoor activities there are to enjoy.

Genesee is an incredible school and community, and I feel fortunate that my family and I are part of it!
